Primary Duties-
Pre-anesthesia interview, take patient’s consent.
Performing anesthesia (sedation).
Post operative pain management.
Follow up after anesthesia (sedation).
Documentation.

Other Duties Performed:
Anesthesia consultations
Intubations outsides the operating room.
Lumber puncture outsides the operating room.
Deep vein or artery puncture outsides the operating room.

Following UFH’s commitment to educating the next generation of medical professionals, physicians will be responsible, as part of their ongoing duties, for mentoring, precepting, teaching and supervising UFH fellows or other relevant trainees.

Additional job responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, department chair or CMO.

Will agree to serve on at least one hospital/clinic committee.

Works on quality improvement activities within the department in collaboration with other Internal Medicine physicians and Department Chairperson.

Exemplifies highest levels of professionalism and medical ethics in every aspect of his or her work and relationships.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities-
Be able to perform general and regional anesthesia.
Be able to do vein (including central vein) and arterial cannulization.
Excellence in communication

Flexible and friendly
Minimum Education Requirement-
Medical Degree from accredited medical university and completed residency in anesthesia.
Minimum Experience Requirement
5-10 years clinical anesthesia work.
